The carbon canister solenoid valve is a device installed on the vehicle to reduce air pollution caused by vehicle fuel evaporation and increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle at the same time.
When the car engine is shut down, the carbon canister begins to absorb the gasoline vapor volatilized from the car fuel tank, in order to prevent the vapor from emitting into the atmosphere and causing environmental pollution. When the car engine is started, the fuel vapor adsorbed in the carbon canister is sent to the engine as fuel for operation.
The shapes of different carbon canister solenoid valves are different, but their functions are the same.
The carbon canister solenoid valve is like a person's gallbladder. There are three oil pipes in the fuel tank of our vehicle, one is connected to the engine, one is connected to the carbon canister, and the other is connected to the return oil pipe.
When the accelerator is pressed, the trip computer system will adjust the fuel injection volume and the mixture ratio of the intake air according to the situation. There is an intake pipe on the carbon canister, and there is an electronic magnetic valve on this pipe, which is normally closed. When the trip computer detects the need for air replenishment, the valve will open, so as to reduce emissions and save fuel.
